Description

I don’t belong here.

I’m in way over my head. But I have debts to pay.

They call my name. The spotlight is on. The auction starts.

Mr. Black is the highest bidder.  He’s dark, rich, and powerful. He likes to play games.

The only rule is there are no rules.

But it’s just one night. What’s the worst that can happen?

This book read like a series of fan fiction articles thrown together. You were re-introduced to characters and story lines several times over.

Started and finished in 2 days! Wowww. There’s so much “taboo” in this book that makes it so wrong, but so right. Can’t wait to read Black Rules next!

Dialogue is shallow, forced and boring. Character development is nonexistent. Needs a lot of work.

Loved the cover photo. That is what drew me to read the book excerpt. I’m not really a fond person of continuing story book excerpts and tend to avoid reading books with that format. Author was able to create Mr. Black as a complex and interesting character. It must have been interesting researching his character. Liked the story line but, not enough to move on to remaining books.

111 pages in and there is nothing but pointless background information and useless conversation. Ellie isn’t at all interesting in the least so save your time because the book is putting me to sleep.

The tease is the first several charter of this book, small disappoint. Will Ellie go through will it, and what will he be like.

The entire book has double spaced paragraphs. Many paragraphs are single lines. The end result is a novella, or close to it, with many more pages than it should, like a trick high schoolers use for term papers. The book is OK, I've read much sexier in the same story type and also worse. It's good enough that I would have bought the series though if I didn't feel conned by the page count. The series is about twice the price per word than you think .
